Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to address a critical defect in context budget management, focusing on optimizing how the system handles overflow scenarios in CJK-heavy sessions. Developed a mechanism in TypeScript to skip the pre-prompt precheck when the context engine manages its own compaction, which reduced false-positive overflow errors and improved overall efficiency. Collaborated with other agents to ensure the new logic aligned with existing context assembly and compaction workflows. Enhanced reliability by introducing targeted tests and establishing clear ownership contracts for precheck behavior, ensuring safe fallback through model API overflow handling. Demonstrated full stack development and testing expertise.
