Worked on the EOEPCA/eoepca-plus repository to address authentication reliability for GitLab users by correcting an incorrect IAM provider URL in the OpenID Connect configuration. This targeted update restored the login flow, reducing downtime and ensuring continued access for users. The solution involved precise configuration management using YAML, with changes tracked and validated through Git-based workflows. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of DevOps practices, IAM and OpenID Connect integration, and the importance of aligning with authentication best practices. The approach focused on stability and user impact, ensuring that authentication endpoints functioned correctly across the GitLab OpenID Connect surface.
