Worked on the FlipsideCrypto/flow-models repository to enhance the reliability of hourly metrics data pipelines by addressing a critical dbt syntax issue in the SQL filtering logic. Focused on stabilizing the flow of hourly data, the work involved diagnosing and correcting a WHERE clause in silver_stats__core_metrics_block_hourly.sql to ensure accurate comparison of block timestamps with the current system time. This fix restored compatibility with dbt, reduced pipeline failures, and improved the accuracy of downstream dashboards. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and version control with Git, delivering targeted improvements that reinforced the trustworthiness of the analytics platform’s data.
