Worked on the cloudposse/atmos repository to enhance the reliability and security of multi-cloud authentication workflows. Addressed a critical bug in the AuthBridge Resolver by updating its logic to read the authentication context from the manager’s stackInfo rather than the caller’s, ensuring correct context propagation across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. The solution involved backend development in Go, with a focus on robust testing to validate the new resolver behavior and prevent mis-authentication scenarios. These changes improved the authentication workflow’s consistency and security posture, with no new user-facing features introduced during the period but a clear emphasis on backend quality.
