Worked on the JabRef/jabref repository to enhance the reliability of the Hayagriva YAML exporter by addressing a bug that previously caused the exporter to emit multiple YAML documents per export, which led to Typst compilation failures. Applied Java and unit testing skills to implement a fix ensuring that multi-entry exports are consolidated into a single YAML document, thereby stabilizing the YAML export workflow for batch processing and Typst integration. Developed regression tests to prevent future occurrences of this issue, reinforcing code quality and cross-component integration between YAML handling and the Typst pipeline within a Java-based codebase focused on maintainability.
