Worked on the NixOS/patchelf repository to address a packaging issue affecting RPM-based distributions. Focused on stabilizing the RPM packaging workflow by updating the patchelf.spec.in file to correctly declare zsh completion files, which resolved a build failure and enabled successful RPM builds. Applied a targeted shell scripting fix, demonstrating attention to packaging hygiene and compatibility with shell completions. The work improved distribution reliability and reduced support friction for users and maintainers. Utilized RPM packaging and shell scripting skills to ensure that zsh completions were properly identified and packaged, contributing to smoother CI processes and more robust package maintenance.
