During October 2025, Mic92 focused on restoring cross-architecture build functionality for the OpenAI Codex CLI in the openai/codex repository. By updating the Nix build configuration, removing outdated CLI build components, and refining both flake.nix and codex-rs expressions, Mic92 ensured compatibility and robustness across multiple platforms. This work stabilized the release process and improved developer productivity by establishing a reproducible, flake-based workflow that reduced platform-specific failures. Additionally, Mic92 documented the build changes and updated developer guidance, supporting ongoing multi-architecture maintenance. The project leveraged skills in DevOps, build configuration, and the Nix language, demonstrating depth in cross-platform tooling.
