Worked on the WeblateOrg/weblate repository to deliver targeted Spanish localization improvements, focusing on refining translation strings and documentation for enhanced clarity and consistency. Leveraged expertise in internationalization, localization, and translation to update django.po files and translation metadata, ensuring alignment with established product terminology. Applied two translation commits through the Weblate platform, which improved the accuracy and accessibility of the user interface and documentation for Spanish-speaking users. Utilized PO files and Python to streamline the localization workflow, reducing ambiguity and supporting onboarding for new users. The work contributed to internationalization readiness and improved user retention in Spanish-speaking markets.
