Over six months, Natsuki Takahashi developed and maintained core data processing and validation workflows for the reearth/reearth-flow engine, focusing on 3D geospatial data conversion, quality assurance, and workflow automation. He implemented modular Rust-based pipelines for PLATEAU and CityGML data, introducing unified surface validation, mesh code extraction, and automated building part QC with reporting. His work emphasized code hygiene, CI/CD reliability, and configuration consistency, leveraging technologies such as Rust, YAML, and XML. By refactoring workflows, enhancing test infrastructure, and improving documentation, Natsuki enabled more robust, maintainable, and scalable geospatial data processing and validation across diverse deployment environments.
October 2025 performance highlights: Delivered automated Building Parts QC and reporting in reearth-flow, improved CityGML data integrity, and advanced CI tooling to accelerate quality releases. These efforts reduce manual validation time, improve data reliability, and enable distribution-ready outputs.

September 2025 monthly summary for reearth/reearth-flow focusing on delivering business value through robust surface validation, data quality improvements, and QA automation. Key milestones include consolidating 2D/3D surface validation into a unified framework, expanding validation coverage with 2D duplicate-points checks and a 3D sub-workflow, and centralizing surface validation configuration across the engine (with tests and attribute handling). Added PLATEAU4.DestinationMeshCodeExtractor to compute and store legitimate regional mesh codes and validate assignments. Strengthened QA with dedicated data for PLATEAU quality checks and a new test-wf sub-command, plus reorganization of test data directories. Documentation updated to require Python 3.11+ for Python-based actions and to streamline OS-specific install steps, removing py2wasm as a main dependency. These efforts deliver higher data quality, improved validation reliability, faster QA feedback, and clearer contributor guidance.
