Worked on enhancing the stability of the sillsdev/ptx2pdf project by addressing a critical bug related to anchor map population during PDF generation. Focused on Python development and code refactoring, the approach involved introducing a data validation check to ensure entries were only added to the anchor map when the required 'anchor' key was present in picture data. This change prevented runtime errors and improved reliability for end users, reducing the risk of workflow interruptions. No new user-facing features were introduced during this period, but the work laid a solid foundation for future enhancements and maintained the integrity of the codebase.
