Worked on stabilizing AWS Bedrock integration within the envoyproxy/ai-gateway repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using Go. Addressed a critical issue by implementing a fix that ensures ARNs in Bedrock inference profile request paths are correctly URL-encoded, specifically escaping forward slashes to prevent invalid URLs and improve communication reliability with Bedrock services. Enhanced the traceability of changes by providing clear commit messaging, which supports better code quality and maintainability. The work concentrated on resolving a single, impactful bug rather than adding new features, demonstrating a detail-oriented approach to backend reliability and integration with AWS infrastructure.
