Addressed a deployment risk by correcting the workload identity ARN format to include a '-dataplane' suffix, which improved IAM role identification and trust policy application across environments. The targeted bug fix reduced misconfigurations and deployment failures, enhancing both reliability and security posture for DGW deployments. Incorporated Copilot feedback to ensure robustness of the solution, and delivered the change through a documented commit process. The work emphasized precise identity resolution and secure, consistent cloud operations.
