Worked on the freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp repository to enhance build reliability by aligning TypeScript build configurations for helper scripts. Focused on updating tsconfig paths so that each script references the correct configuration, this change improved both script execution and continuous integration stability. The approach emphasized configuration hygiene and maintainability, reducing the risk of build-time errors and misconfigurations during local and CI runs. Leveraged skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and full stack development to implement a well-documented, traceable update. While no major bugs were fixed, the work laid a foundation for scalable TypeScript configuration management and smoother development workflows going forward.
