During November 2024, Naota focused on maintaining the winterheart/gentoo repository, addressing a persistent Fedora build sandbox issue within the cmake-fedora workflow. By removing problematic release management logic and explicitly disabling Fedora build enablement through a CMake variable, Naota streamlined the build process and reduced sandbox-related failures. The work also included refining the package existence check command to prevent unnecessary build interruptions, ultimately improving CI reliability for Fedora-related releases. Leveraging skills in build system configuration, patch management, and Shell scripting, Naota delivered targeted, in-depth maintenance that enhanced the predictability and stability of the repository’s Fedora build workflows.
