Worked on the facebook/pyrefly repository to enhance Python import autocomplete and stabilize notebook editor features. Developed a robust completion system in the Rust-based LSP backend, enabling accurate symbol suggestions for Python imports, including cases with empty from-imports and improved prioritization of local modules. Validated these enhancements through manual testing in VS Code, ensuring reliable integration and consistent developer experience. Addressed a notebook hover issue by updating cell metadata during kernel switches, preventing stale hover feedback. Demonstrated proficiency in Rust, backend development, and testing, with a focus on editor tooling reliability and end-to-end validation of new and fixed features.
