Worked on the mozilla/gecko-dev repository to enhance navigation event data accuracy and improve test reliability. Delivered an update to NavigateEvent.formData, ensuring that the submitter element is correctly included in navigation events during form submissions. Addressed test flakiness in Web Platform Tests by refining assertions to accommodate the non-deterministic order of hashchange and load events, which reduced brittleness and improved CI stability. Utilized JavaScript and HTML for feature implementation and test updates, applying skills in event handling and web platform testing. These contributions strengthened the correctness of navigation telemetry and increased confidence in the platform’s automated test suite.
