Worked on the modelcontextprotocol/typescript-sdk repository to introduce audio content support within the TypeScript SDK. Developed a new audio schema that handles base64-encoded data and MIME types, integrating it into both message and result schemas to enable language models to process audio data. This addition established end-to-end audio processing workflows, preparing the SDK for broader audio-enabled capabilities in line with the project roadmap. The work focused on SDK development, schema definition, and type definitions using TypeScript, ensuring consistency and extensibility for future features. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on foundational feature delivery and integration.
