Developed and implemented a batch telemetry logging system for the facebook/facebook-for-woocommerce repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability and scalability of log processing. The solution utilized PHP to establish a cron-driven batch processor that collects telemetry logs every five minutes, storing them in a global message queue for deferred handling. This approach improved operational visibility and enabled faster detection of product issues by reducing log processing latency. The work demonstrated backend development skills, particularly in cron job scheduling and logging pipeline design within a WordPress environment. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on new feature delivery.
