Worked on the ibm-mas/gitops repository to refactor MaximoIT verification tests, focusing on improving test reliability and maintainability. The approach involved removing the dependency on demodata and introducing a session-based request pattern, which reduced data setup requirements and enhanced stability across different environments. Enhanced assertion messaging was implemented to provide clearer, more actionable feedback during continuous integration runs. Leveraged Python and YAML for backend development, API integration, and testing tasks. This work addressed issues with test flakiness and enabled faster, more robust feedback in CI pipelines, ultimately streamlining the testing process and supporting more consistent deployment workflows.
