Niraj Bhandari enhanced the Azure/Azure-Sentinel repository by consolidating STIX object support across threat intelligence data connectors and APIs, modernizing terminology, and refining API documentation and versioning. He introduced feature flag management for Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence connectors, enabling phased rollouts and reducing misconfiguration risks. His work included updating JSON templates, improving release metadata, and ensuring documentation accurately reflected new capabilities. Using skills in API integration, configuration management, and release engineering, Niraj addressed both feature development and critical bug fixes. The depth of his contributions improved data consistency, deployment reliability, and maintainability for threat intelligence solutions within Microsoft Sentinel.

In January 2025, I delivered a controlled rollout of Threat Intelligence Data Connectors feature flags in Azure Sentinel, fixed critical feature flag configurations, and refreshed documentation and release metadata to align with the latest Threat Intelligence solutions. These efforts improved deployment reliability, reduced misconfig risks, and enhanced end-user guidance.
