Worked on the google/error-prone repository to deliver internal task tracking for Refaster template matching on instanceof patterns. The approach involved associating the ongoing feature work with internal bug b/422117955, ensuring that code changes were directly linked to tracked issues for improved traceability. Updated the UInstanceOf.java file to include the bug-tracking number in the TODO comment, enhancing code maintainability and auditability. Demonstrated proficiency in Java, bug tracking, and code maintenance by aligning development with established workflows. The work strengthened the connection between code and issue tracking, enabling faster debugging and clearer ownership within the context of static analysis tooling.
