Worked on the wolfpld/tracy repository to address a platform-specific issue affecting Vulkan workloads on Apple devices. Focused on enhancing cross-platform stability by reducing the Vulkan query pool size from 64K to 4K for macOS and iOS, this change targeted Apple’s resource limitations without impacting other platforms. The solution involved careful tuning of the Vulkan API and demonstrated proficiency in C++ and cross-platform development. By isolating the fix to Apple environments, the work minimized risk and maintained consistent behavior elsewhere. This contribution improved production reliability for Tracy users running Vulkan on Apple hardware, reflecting a thoughtful and precise engineering approach.
