Developed and delivered the Run Configuration Move, Copy, and Duplicate feature for the pentaho/pentaho-kettle repository, focusing on enhancing configuration management workflows. This work involved backend development in Java and the creation of new UI elements, including menus and dialogs, to facilitate the replication and relocation of run configurations across both project and global scopes. The implementation included validation checks for existing configurations and provided options to overwrite or cancel, reducing manual steps and improving governance. By aligning with specific backlog items, the feature addressed traceability and business needs, ultimately streamlining configuration management and usability for diverse deployment environments.
