Worked on enhancing the user onboarding experience in the OneCommunityGlobal/HGNRest repository by improving the responsiveness of the new user popup. Addressed latency issues by implementing an immediate success response to the client while shifting acknowledgement email delivery to asynchronous processing, resulting in a smoother and faster onboarding flow. Utilized backend development skills with Node.js and JavaScript to reduce user-facing errors and improve system reliability. Focused commits strengthened code traceability and maintainability. The approach increased scalability by decoupling email operations from the main user flow, ensuring higher user satisfaction and more robust onboarding without introducing new bugs during the development period.
