During October 2025, Nulflox added Haiku OS support to the Genie project generator within the haikuports/haikuports repository, broadening the system’s cross-platform capabilities. This work involved creating new Makefile and genie.make files, integrating Haiku builds into the existing Genie build system, and updating the generator to the latest tag for compatibility. By leveraging skills in build systems, system integration, and cross-platform development, and working primarily with C, Lua, and Makefile scripting, Nulflox streamlined the process for developers targeting Haiku. The result reduced manual build steps and improved validation speed, though the focus remained on feature delivery rather than bug fixes.
