During January 2026, Nils delivered QMV language support for the Helix editor by configuring languages.toml and updating the relevant documentation in the helix-editor/helix repository. This work enabled editing and syntax highlighting for QMV files, expanding the editor’s language capabilities and improving the developer experience. Nils approached the task with a config-driven methodology, ensuring that documentation and configuration remained synchronized. The implementation focused on editor configuration and language support, utilizing Markdown and TOML to integrate QMV seamlessly. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the feature work aligned with project quality standards and contributed to the planned roadmap.
