Worked on the usebruno/bruno repository to enhance the request pane by implementing scroll position restoration for the body tab, addressing the challenge of preserving editing context during tab switches. Leveraged React and Redux to persist the CodeMirror editor’s scroll state on unmount and restore it on remount, aligning the solution with established patterns for maintainability. Automated validation was introduced through Playwright end-to-end tests, ensuring reliable user experience improvements. The feature focused on supporting large payload editing in formats such as JSON and XML, ultimately streamlining user workflows and reinforcing consistent engineering practices through robust testing and adherence to existing architectural patterns.
