Worked on the helix-editor/helix repository to enhance the Catppuccin Mocha theme by improving the visual distinction of unnecessary diagnostics. Focused on theme customization and configuration management, the contribution involved updating the catppuccin_mocha.toml file using TOML to apply a dim modifier to unnecessary diagnostics. This adjustment made it easier for developers to quickly scan and interpret code diagnostics, aligning with the overall theme’s readability goals. The work laid the foundation for more consistent, theme-driven diagnostic styling across the editor. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and UI/readability improvements within the theme system.
