Nkumari worked on expanding AWS Configuration Module Permissions within the lacework/terraform-aws-config repository, focusing on enhancing security and governance across multiple AWS services including WAF, WAF v2, Regional, SSM, EKS, and Inspector2. Using Terraform and HCL, Nkumari introduced a new audit policy to improve monitoring and auditability, and updated documentation to reflect these changes. The work leveraged AWS IAM and cloud security best practices to broaden service coverage and strengthen the security posture of AWS configurations. Over the month, Nkumari delivered one feature with no reported defects, demonstrating depth in infrastructure as code and cloud security engineering.
