Worked on enhancing product support within the victronenergy/gui-v2 repository by implementing Cummins Genset ProductId recognition. The contribution involved adding a new enum value in C++ to represent Cummins models and updating embedded switch logic to reliably identify these devices. This foundational change streamlines device recognition and reduces the need for manual configuration, laying the groundwork for future integration with Cummins equipment. The work focused on embedded systems and product integration, ensuring that the system can now distinguish Cummins gensets for potential interaction. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding feature compatibility and integration pathways.
