Worked on enhancing the Shopify/ui-extensions repository by delivering targeted documentation improvements focused on the Product Variant Edit Intent feature. The update clarified the distinction between using the shopify/ProductVariant edit intent and the shopify/Product edit intent, specifically in relation to the hasOnlyDefaultVariant GraphQL field. By providing clear guidance on intent selection, the documentation aimed to reduce integration confusion and support accurate implementation of product variant editing flows. This work leveraged skills in API documentation and technical writing, with TypeScript as the primary language, ultimately improving developer onboarding and helping teams avoid common pitfalls when integrating with Shopify’s UI extensions.
