Developed and delivered a feature for the microsoft/playwright repository that enables file-based test selection within the Test Runner, allowing users to specify file-only entries in the --test-list option to execute all tests in a file or within targeted test suites. This enhancement, implemented using TypeScript and leveraging test automation best practices, streamlines test orchestration and increases flexibility for continuous integration workflows by reducing unnecessary test execution. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of testing infrastructure and adherence to project conventions, with clear commit documentation and issue tracking, ultimately improving reproducibility, maintainability, and the overall quality of test delivery processes.
