
Developed the COVIDcast Geo Coverage Endpoint for the cmu-delphi/delphi-epidata repository, enabling reporting of signal availability by geographic region to improve data coverage visibility. The work involved designing and implementing a new coverage_crossref table and view within the database, as well as creating a utility function in Python to compute and populate coverage data. Integration tests were added to ensure accurate reporting across geographic areas and signals, supporting data quality assurance and informed decision-making for stakeholders. The project leveraged skills in API development, backend development, and database management, with a focus on Python, SQL, and robust testing practices.
