During March 2026, contributed to the hove-io/navitia repository by delivering a Dockerfile logging enhancement focused on observability within Jormungandr containers. This work introduced logfmt-based structured logging, enabling faster issue diagnosis and improved monitoring in production environments. The implementation involved Dockerfile instrumentation and integration of logfmt formatting, leveraging skills in Docker, C++, and YAML. Collaboration was demonstrated through pull request-based workflows and thorough documentation of changes. No major bugs were reported during this period, and the enhancement resulted in improved operational reliability, streamlined triage processes, and greater visibility across deployments, reflecting a focused and practical approach to container observability.
