During January 2026, Randorf enhanced delivery, stability, and maintainability across three repositories, focusing on Gen3 Submission Service, Fence, and Gen3-GitOps. In uc-cdis/sheepdog, Randorf improved compatibility by replacing deprecated resource handling with importlib and upgrading urllib3, resulting in a stable minor release. For uc-cdis/fence, Randorf addressed security and dependency hygiene by updating dependencies and carefully managing poetry.lock to maintain a consistent dependency graph. In uc-cdis/gen3-gitops, Randorf reorganized configuration files using YAML and regex-based patterns, improving readability and maintainability.
