Worked on the edx/devstack repository to address a critical issue in the Theming Engine, focusing on stabilizing the loading of themed templates across development environments. Delivered a targeted bug fix by correcting the make_mako_template_dirs reference throughout configuration files, ensuring that custom templates are reliably located and applied. This solution reduced the risk of missing themes and minimized downstream troubleshooting for developers. Leveraged skills in configuration management, DevOps practices, and Python, with a strong emphasis on Mako templating and cross-file consistency. The work enhanced the maintainability and reliability of the theming path, improving the overall developer experience in edx/devstack.
