During December 2025, Zhumeng worked on the CherryHQ/cherry-studio repository, delivering the MCP Tool ID Permissions Alignment feature. This involved normalizing legacy MCP allowlist entries to match SDK tool names, which improved permission accuracy and data integrity across the system. Zhumeng introduced new build and convert utilities in TypeScript, enabling seamless generation and transformation of tool IDs for compatibility between legacy and current formats. By focusing on backend development and API integration, Zhumeng’s work reduced the risk of future migrations and established a scalable foundation for permission governance, addressing technical debt and supporting smoother tool management without requiring disruptive data migrations.
