Worked on the cnoe-io/ai-platform-engineering repository to enhance Kubernetes chart stability by addressing a critical deployment issue. Focused on chart development using YAML and DevOps practices, the work involved identifying and removing duplicate app.kubernetes.io/name labels from both deployment and service templates. This fix eliminated conflicts that previously affected chart integrity and deployment reliability across environments. By enforcing Kubernetes labeling conventions within Helm charts, the changes improved maintainability and enabled safer, more reproducible upgrades. The effort contributed to more predictable CI/CD outcomes, ensuring that deployments could proceed without label-related conflicts and supporting a more robust engineering workflow.
