Worked on the termux/termux-packages repository to deliver a targeted upgrade of the gocryptfs package to version 2.5.4, focusing on seamless Termux path integration. Used Shell scripting and package management skills to update the SHA256 checksum, add libfuse2 as a runtime dependency, and adjust environment variable handling so that PATH and fusermount resolve within the Termux prefix. This approach improved cryptographic tooling reliability and user experience across devices. The work was delivered as a disciplined, traceable commit, emphasizing build integrity, runtime compatibility, and maintainability while ensuring that packaging standards and traceability were maintained throughout the process.
