Sami contributed Finnish localization improvements to the TampereHacklab/mulysa repository, focusing on enhancing translation accuracy and UI readability for Finnish users. Working with Django PO files, Sami addressed a formatting issue by splitting long Matrix ID validation messages across lines, ensuring proper display within the user interface. The work involved careful attention to internationalization and localization best practices, with changes applied through two targeted commits. By refining translation strings and improving maintainability of locale files, Sami reduced the risk of translation-related UI issues and support queries. The project utilized PO files and Python, demonstrating a focused approach to language-specific UI challenges.
