Worked on the securityscorecard/design-system repository to deliver two new front end features focused on risk signaling and visual consistency. Developed the MaxSeveritySignal component to improve the accuracy and export behavior of signal displays, integrating updated Storybook stories and comprehensive image snapshot tests for robust visual regression coverage. Enhanced the BusinessImpactSignal component by adding monochromatic icon support and updated the Vertical4Bars component to support single-color display, aligning visuals with the design system. Employed React, JavaScript, and TypeScript throughout the process, emphasizing maintainability through type updates, proper exports, and thorough visual testing to reduce regressions and accelerate UI delivery.
