Worked on the spack/spack-packages repository to deliver the OpenCARP 19.0 package release, focusing on improving dependency management and package stability. The work involved adding the new OpenCARP v19.0 packages, enforcing PETSc version constraints to enhance compatibility, and updating carputils dependencies for better downstream integration. Outdated and deprecated dependencies were removed to streamline maintenance and reduce potential build failures across environments. Python was used extensively for implementing these changes, with a strong emphasis on package and dependency management. Collaboration with the OpenCARP consortium ensured that the release aligned with project goals and maintained consistency across related software components.
