Worked on enhancing the CI/CD workflow for the OpenNMS/opennms repository by consolidating foundational pipelines and modernizing automation processes. Merged the foundation-2023 branch into foundation-2024, unifying the CI/CD base to streamline future upgrades and reduce risk. Updated CircleCI configurations using YAML and Shell scripting, introducing dynamic workflows, refined build paths, and new job definitions to improve efficiency and reliability. Leveraged skills in Docker, Git, and Maven to ensure consistent environments across all pipelines. This work established a stable baseline for ongoing development, supporting faster feature delivery and smoother transitions between foundational versions within the project’s DevOps ecosystem.
