Worked on the open-feature/java-sdk-contrib repository, focusing on backend development and bug resolution using Java and unit testing. Addressed a critical issue in the FliptProvider by implementing a fallback mechanism to the server default variant when no matching variant was found during feature flag evaluation. This change ensured that flag values remained deterministic and aligned with server expectations, particularly in edge-case scenarios where misflagging could occur. Maintained clear traceability through a signed-off commit, supporting straightforward auditing and rollback. The work emphasized correctness and stability in feature flag evaluations, contributing to more reliable backend systems and improved production behavior.
