This adjustment, implemented through a targeted JSON configuration update, aimed to reduce ambiguity, streamline triage, and improve onboarding for new contributors. The work emphasized code ownership management and collaboration, supporting more efficient incident response and targeted code reviews. By refining the code owner structure, the contribution laid a foundation for improved risk management and future governance enhancements within the open source Home Assistant project.
