Worked on the oe-alliance/oe-alliance-core repository to enhance boot-time clock synchronization across devices. Addressed timing and reliability issues by relocating the ntpdate-sync process from if-up.d to init.d, introducing a new ntp-setdate init script, and updating the build recipe to standardize NTP-based clock setting during system startup. This approach improved the determinism and accuracy of system time, reducing timestamp skew in logs and increasing the reliability of time-dependent services. Demonstrated expertise in Shell scripting, build system management, and system administration, with a focus on maintainability and robust integration of NTP synchronization into the boot process.
