Worked on the CenterForOpenScience/angular-osf repository to deliver a Single Sign-On (SSO) enhancement and integration, focusing on improving authentication flows for institutional users. Addressed login URL encoding issues by unifying encoding logic and simplifying URL construction, which removed redundant helpers and streamlined the codebase. Updated the logout process to ensure reliable post-sign-out navigation and added an sso_availability attribute to the Institution model and mapper, enabling more flexible SSO behavior across institutions. Enhanced unit test coverage for Institution-related SSO features. The work was implemented using Angular and TypeScript, demonstrating skills in both front end and full stack development.
