Worked on the ThioJoe/_tempFork_vscode repository to enhance the user experience and automation reliability of a VS Code extension using TypeScript and front end development skills. Developed a feature that detects when npm install is run without an open workspace, providing a clear, actionable error message and refined error handling to guide users toward valid workspace setup. Improved the robustness of pull request detection to support more reliable CI automation and streamlined code review processes. Emphasized maintainability by writing clearer commit messages and including co-authored-by metadata, which helped accelerate onboarding and fostered better collaboration within the extension development workflow.
