During a two-month period, Brunelle contributed to getsentry/sentry-rust and meilisearch/meilisearch-rust, focusing on feature development in Rust. In getsentry/sentry-rust, Brunelle built Actix middleware that captures HTTP request bodies with configurable size limits and support for JSON and form-urlencoded content types, enhancing error context for debugging in Actix-based applications. For meilisearch/meilisearch-rust, Brunelle extended the IncompleteMovie data model by adding a genres field, enabling genre-based search, filtering, and recommendations at the index layer. The work demonstrated depth in middleware development, HTTP request handling, and data modeling, with well-documented, focused commits and no reported bugs during the period.
