Developed an end-to-end synthetic data generation and API integration workflow for the THI-CSI/decentralized_iam_battery_data repository, focusing on realistic battery data provisioning for testing and demonstration purposes. Leveraged Python scripting and Flask to create a data generator that outputs synthetic battery datasets in both CSV and JSON formats, submitting them to a local API endpoint. Introduced a lightweight Flask-based test endpoint to acknowledge incoming data, enabling seamless integration testing and validation of the data ingestion pipeline. This work established a repeatable, automated process for data enrichment, reducing manual setup and supporting improved test coverage in development and QA environments.
